CURIOUS SPROUTS: Grades PreK - 2 Grade

We invite young learners to become curious explorers of the natural world. Nature-based science curriculum for PreK–2nd grade nurtures curiosity through hands-on, sensory-rich exploration. Each one-month-long module offers adaptable activities that grow with the child, blending play, observation, and inquiry. Rooted in NGSS, the curriculum fosters environmental awareness and a lasting love of science.

WILD WONDERERS: Grades 3 - 5

Wild Wonderers are curious explorers who dive into nature-based science through hands-on adventures and creative investigations. From tracking wildlife to experimenting with ecosystems, learners build skills, ask big questions, and discover the wild wonders of our world—together. Let’s wonder wildly and learn bravely!

TRAIL BLAZERS: Grades 9 - 12

Our 16-week asynchronous classes are rooted in environmental stewardship and academic rigor. Each course is fully aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), ensuring students build essential scientific skills while engaging with relevant, interdisciplinary content. Lessons blend asynchronous peer interactions with sensory-rich activities, reflective journaling, and inquiry-based learning to support diverse learners and foster ecological literacy.

Intro to Ecology: Ecology & Earth Systems

 This semester-long course introduces students to foundational ecological principles, emphasizing systems thinking, biodiversity, and human-environment interactions. Through hands-on experiments, field-inspired investigations, and a weekly book study, learners will deepen their understanding of ecological principles while developing critical thinking, data literacy, and environmental stewardship. 

Advanced Ecology: Ecosystems & Natural Resources

Join us on a semester-long deep dive exploring the science of ecosystems through hands-on fieldwork, data analysis, and geospatial mapping. This NGSS-aligned course examines energy flow, nutrient cycles, species interactions, and human impacts on the environment. Students will develop ecological literacy and systems-thinking skills while investigating real-world environmental challenges. Ideal for nature-curious learners seeking a deeper understanding of Earth’s dynamic systems. 

Career Exploration in Natural Resources: Forestry, Wildlife, & Conservation

 Explore the science behind ecosystems, forests, wildlife, and natural resource management in this hands-on, career-focused ecology course. Students investigate ecological systems through the lenses of genetics, chemistry, and environmental science while engaging in real-world labs, simulations, and field-based activities. Weekly career spotlights and a personalized EcoCareer Portfolio help students discover pathways in forestry, wildlife biology, conservation, and sustainability.
