The Summit to Sea Institute is where curiosity meets the natural world. We design and deliver highly immersive asynchronous science-based programs that span the ecological spectrum—from alpine peaks to coastal tidepools. Our experiential curriculum weaves together biology, wildlife, forestry, ecology, and other natural resource studies with harder concepts such as chemistry, physics, and mathematics to foster critical thinking, environmental literacy, and a lifelong appreciation for Earth's systems.
Founded on the belief that understanding leads to stewardship, The Summit to Sea Institute equips learners of all ages to engage with science through hands-on discovery and peer interactions. Whether navigating forest ecosystems, exploring aquatic biodiversity, or deciphering climate patterns, our programs encourage active inquiry and connect participants with the science that shapes our planet through individual, group, and citizen science projects.
